It was hero snow, a sunny day, and the hut was nearby. So.................

Day 6 started with a mission. The group, sans Vince, at the top of John Carter.

                The ski down was excellent again. Some of the gang continued on.

Lee met, Vince, and Wylie and dove into line of the week.

I hope I have typed this “word” less than 10 times in my life, but now I add one more.

Kudos gentlemen.


And I was too tired for the skin track from hell out again. D’oh!

Day 7 started up towards a east col of Nansen Mountain before a great ski off its north bowl, then up again before heading up to the col west of the east summit of Mt. Robert Smith.

These were my last fun, fast turns of the trip. After a short skin out through Enterprise Pass, we would be back to the the “hut”...
